The target audience for our film will be specific members of the social networking society. In March 2010 over 180,000,000 logged onto the top three social network websites, with 93,300,000 of them logging onto facebook.
Based on the information obtained from the above chart over 50% of Facespace users were from USA, UK and Canada.
This chart shows that over 50% of Facebook users are between the ages of 18 and 34. From my research i have concluded that systematically the target audience for my thriller will be people aged between 18 and 34 from cultures similar to that of and including Canada, USA and the UK such as Australia and South Africa.
I am aiming to sell my film to users of social networking sites such as Bebo, Myspace, Facebook and YouTube because the film is a thriller centred around the dangers of social networking, and a film such as this will mostr likely appeal to people that use social networking sites themselves
